I just wanted to thank Beverley for all the help and support you have shown my daughter Emily and myself over the past few years. I was very pleased to hear about Speech Train and Emily has received periodically structured therapy from you over the past few years. You quickly identified her areas of difficulty and through your patience, assessments and therapy have led her now receiving the right education she deserves. Beverley , you have always been willing to chat about my concerns and been available for advice and I thank you again for this.
You have helped tremendously with her confidence and the colour coded word book was a great success.

I have a son (8) and a daughter (5), like all parents I worry constantly about them, so when it became apparent that my daughter had a lisp and my son was struggling at school but in a way that I could not put my finger on, I shared my concerns with friend and through several different channels one name was recommended several times "Beverley Jessup" in Ryde. I contacted Beverley who responded to me quickly and assessed both my children. My son, amongst other things has a language problem which Beverley has been helping with over the last year, I am pleased that progress has and is being made with what felt to me to be a difficult problem.
The way that Beverley handles both my children is excellent .She is very good at understanding each child on an individual basis and knowing just how to help teach them. Often what she is helping them with especially for my son makes him uncomfortable because it does not come easy, she is very good at putting him at ease. I would recommend Beverley to anyone and her excellent reputation is well founded.

Beverley Jessup has worked for pupils in Priory School for several years, and became one of our lead SLT Support Therapists in March 2009 when I took over management of the school. She has handled a growing caseload of pupils with Speech & Language difficulties, social pragmatic learning difficulties, social & behavioural problems connected to understanding and auditory processing, and equivalent learning difficulties associated with children with Autistic Spectrum Disorders.
We have seen real and substantial improvement in school with pupils under her care, and that of her staff. Not only have behavioural and adaptive issues improved, but consequent learning and academic development has been marked.
I have found her and her staff excellent to deal with, with close and regular communication assisting in statementing, monitoring of pupils, and reviews of progress.
I have no hesitation recommending her services for those children for whom they would be appropriate, and am happy to supplement this reference by telephone or e-mail.

Bev is a wonderful woman who just works magic. She has been seeing Kaira for over 3 years since her initial diagnosis of Tourettes and Aspergers Syndrome. The school had said Kaira was a naughty girl who wouldn't learn, but we knew they were wrong and there was something else. Finding Bev has made all the difference. She just hasthis way of knowing how Kaira learns, getting to the point, and helping her find what's best for her. Bev has helped Kaira realise that whilst she has difficulties, and will need to work hard, she now has the confidence to stand on a stage and sing, which is beyond price. We're so thankful we found Bev, she has made such a difference to all our lives.

What I really like about Beverley is that she thinks outside the box. We were getting very frustrated with how basic the NHS was and panicking about Max starting school in September. Beverley is very direct which is what we wanted and expressed concerns straight away. She also works with us as the parents via Skype in the evening to help us with training techniques. She is at the nursery today observing max and encouraging the key workers to learn different techniques to help him interact. Having Beverley's help has been extremely positive I highly recommend her. She really goes above and beyond with all that she does.

Beverley has been working with my eldest son for a couple of months now. He has had a few problems at school which have really knocked his self-esteem and made him quite depressed. He has always had some speech and language processing issues and Beverley has been fantastic with him. Beverley not only helps him with speech and language but is also building up his self-confidence again. He is now taking part in lots of after school clubs and I can see a really positive change in him. I am sure his time with Beverley is one of the contributing factors to this positive change. Beverley has been very supportive of us as a family, understands all the pressures on my time, and has never let us down.
